I sent a thank-you email to Prof. Gordon. Also, I emailed the people involved about the Rikuzentakata project.

I did some work on the editorial committee of the Architectural Institute of Japan. I send an email to the Disaster Committee about my visit.

I ordered a temperature/humidity meter and a humidifier.

I made an appointment for influenza vaccination.

I did the rest of the coding in nvivo, from top 2 to 4 in English.

I attended USJP Seminar “Japan’s Changing Cybersecurity and the Future of U.S.-Japan Relations.”

I boiled vegetables until waiting for windows repair.

I did the rest of the coding in nvivo—English top 5 to 8.

Participated in HIST2016.

I got an SSN.

Stacie and Prof. Whitelow sent me information about the former Reischauer's house.




 Lee-sensei of the same apartment invited me dinner next week.

Went to Belmont, played tennis, and had dinner at Kaoru Iokibe's house.

I sent a video to the Maki-sensei's kaken research group.

I finished the rest of the coding in nvivo—English top 9 to 10.

I wrote and sent an ISSS peer-reviewed report.

I organized NVivo's coding results but didn't have enough time.

I attended the Weatherhead Center gathering.


10/9 (Sat)

I went to the MAC(gym). I tried a heavy weight than the last week and drunk protein.



I went through business school and shopped at Trader Joe's.




I attended to Hiroko Kumaki's seminar.

In talking about mental care for the victims of Fukushima, I asked about distrust of the government and TEPCO and the outlook for community care. The inability to talk about sensitive direct feelings may affect their mental health.

And I received a temperature/humidity meter and a humidifier.
