I wrote general history from 1945 to 1989 as a "social trend before the disaster." I read John Dower's Embracing Defeat carefully and learned the diversity of sources. I started to write disaster responses from the 1946 Nankai Earthquake to the 1995 Kobe Earthquake as "disasters." Thursday, I had dinner with Asano-san in his room.
